Miranda joined the Community Impact newspaper in August 2017 as the editor of the Grapevine/Colleyville/Southlake edition. In 2019, she transferred to the editor of the McKinney edition. She also began reporting on Frisco in 2020. Miranda reports on local government, transportation, businesses, and non-profit organizations in these communities. Prior to joining CI, Miranda served as the executive editor of The Prosper Press, The Anna-Melissa Tribune, and The Van Alstyne Leader. Before that, she reported and designed for The Herald Democrat, a daily newspaper in Grayson County. She graduated from Oklahoma Christian University with a degree in journalism in 2014.
